Michael S.

Michael S. began their work experience as a Trainee Solicitor at DLA Piper in September 2005, before becoming a Solicitor from September 2007 to September 2008. Michael then worked as a Legal Advisor at King & Wood Mallesons from October 2008 to April 2009. Michael then returned to DLA Piper as a Solicitor from January 2010 to July 2012. Michael joined Eversheds as an Associate from August 2012 to May 2014. Michael then moved on to Eversheds Sutherland where they served as a Senior Associate from May 2014 to May 2017, and later as a Principal Associate from May 2017 to February 2018. Their most recent role was Head of Legal at Hill & Smith PLC starting March 2018.

Michael S. enrolled in St John Fisher RC High School for their secondary education. After completing high school, they attended Newcastle University from 1999 to 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Human Geography. In 2003, they enrolled at Leeds Beckett University and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law in 2004. Michael furthered their education by attending the Institute of Directors (IoD) in 2019, where they achieved a Certificate in Company Direction. Finally, in 2021-2022, they pursued a Certificate in Corporate Governance at The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.
