Alastair Mant

Alastair Mant is a seasoned professional in sustainability and ESG with extensive experience in the real estate sector. As a Managing Consultant at Hillbreak since October 2022, Alastair provides advisory and training services on sustainability initiatives. Previously, Alastair served as Interim Senior Capability Manager for Sustainability at The Crown Estate, contributing to organizational capabilities in environmental and social sustainability. Alastair held significant leadership roles at the UK Green Building Council from 2017 to 2022, including Director of Business Transformation, where strategic advocacy and project planning were key responsibilities. Alastair's career also encompasses roles as Director and Head of Sustainability at Avison Young, and earlier positions at GVA Property Consultancy and in education in Japan. Alastair holds a BA in Combined Studies in Social Sciences from Durham University and an MSc in Surveying and Environmental Management from the University of Exeter, alongside several professional development courses.
