Heather Perdue

Heather Perdue is a dedicated social worker with extensive experience across multiple medical populations. Currently at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center since July 2014, Heather has worked in trauma, orthopedic, general surgery, and primarily in the Emergency Department, focusing on providing discharge planning, crisis intervention, and psychosocial assessments. Previous roles include serving as Shelter Coordinator and Case Manager at the Family Abuse Center, where responsibilities encompassed supervising staff, crisis intervention, case management, and facilitating health clinics. Heather also has experience as an educator and MSW intern, specializing in children's programs and family support. Academic credentials include a Master of Social Work from Baylor University and a Bachelor of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington.
