David Fain

David Fain has extensive experience in Jewish education and youth programming, currently serving as Rav Beit Hasefer at Hillel Day School since August 2018. Prior roles include Youth Director, Jspace Director, Assistant Youth Director, and Youth Group Supervisor at Hebrew Institute of Riverdale, where David created and implemented Shabbat and Holiday programs for youth ages 0-15. As a Jewish Studies Teacher at Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School from 2011 to 2014, David taught courses for 6th-8th graders on Hebrew, TaNaKh, Israel, and adolescent development, and contributed as a Summer Madrich at Ramah Programs in Israel and as a Madrich at SIACH Alexander Muss Israel Programs. David’s educational background includes a Rabbinical degree from Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Rabbinical School and two Master’s degrees in Jewish Education from Hebrew College and the Pardes Day School Educators Program, following a Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut.
