Chi Zhang

Chi Zhang has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research. They currently hold the position of Lead Scientist at Hilleman Laboratories since May 2022. Prior to this, Chi worked at Roquette, where they held the roles of BioPharma Senior Scientist II from October 2020 and BioPharma Senior Scientist from January 2018 to September 2020. Before joining Roquette, Chi served as a Research Scientist at Bosch from March 2015 to December 2017. They also gained research experience as a Research Scientist at Credo Biomedical Pte Ltd from March 2012 to August 2014. Chi further expanded their research expertise as a Postdoc Fellow at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) from October 2009 to October 2011. Earlier in their career, Chi worked as a Postdoc Fellow at the National University of Singapore from July 2009 to October 2009 and as a PhD student from August 2005 to July 2009, where they focused on developing in vitro cell-based platforms for toxicity testing and bioMEMS. Chi has demonstrated leadership skills, project management capabilities, and strong technical expertise throughout their extensive work experience.

Chi Zhang completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from South China University of Technology from 2001 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a PhD in Bioengineering from the National University of Singapore from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Chi Zhang obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from the National University of Singapore in December 2020. They also completed a Lean startup, Business accelerator program from UC Berkeley and Bosch in October 2017.
