Metin Begecarslan has a vast work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Metin started their career as an Industrial Mechanic at Xomox International GmbH & Co OHG from 1997 to 2000.

Metin Begecarslan completed an apprenticeship in Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology at XOMOX International GmbH & Co. from 1994 to 1997. Metin then obtained a Dipl.-Wirtsch. Ing. (FH) degree in Maschinenbau from Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften Kempten from 2001 to 2005. In 2009 to 2010, they attended Siemens AG and earned a Certified Senior Lean Expert certification through their Senior Lean Management Expert Program. From 2016 to 2017, Begecarslan participated in the General Management Development Program at Danaher. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Business Economics and Management at Mendel University in Brno with an expected completion year of 2022.
