Ricky Fang

Ricky (Chunzheng) Fang currently serves as Executive Director at Hillhouse since March 2021, focusing on industrial sectors, hard technology, and new energy. Prior to this role, Ricky held various positions at China V Fund from November 2017 to March 2021, including Vice President and Investment Director, with a focus on sectors such as automobiles, AI, cloud computing, big data, SAAS, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, and aerospace. Earlier experience includes an Analyst position at JIC INVESTMENT from June 2015 to October 2017 within the private equity vehicle of China Sovereign Wealth Fund CIC. Ricky holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and a BA in Economics from Gies College of Business and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, respectively.
