Ken Zegar

Ken Zegar is a seasoned finance professional with significant expertise in mortgage capital markets and structured lending. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Hilltop Securities Inc. since April 2023, Ken has previously held the position of Managing Director at Jefferies from April 2008 to June 2018, focusing on Mortgage Capital Markets, including NPL and Fix & Flip securitization, as well as Non-Agency Mortgage Trading. Prior to Jefferies, Ken was also a Managing Director at RBS, specializing in Non-Agency Mortgage Trading from January 2005 to March 2008. Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from New York University, earned between 1990 and 1994.
