Robert Morales

Robert Morales is the current head of Advisory Services & Products at Hilltop Securities. Prior to this, they were with Transamerica from January 2014 to November 2020, where they served as Vice President & Senior Director of Retail Advice and Workplace Product Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for leading retention and growth by driving strategic direction, vision, and value proposition for wealth and retirement products and digital advice solutions.

Before Transamerica, Morales was with Placemark Investments from January 2012 to December 2014 as Vice President of Product Management for Advisor Solutions. In this role, they led the sales marketing strategy of the wealth management investment solutions software platform to the independent Registered Investment Advisor market.

From 2007 to 2013, Morales worked at USAA as the Executive Director of Product Management for Wealth Management Financial Planning and Advice. And from 2004 to 2007, they were Managing Director of Retirement Services at ICMA-RC.

Their manager is Brad Winges, President and CEO. They are on a team with A.J. Maggio - Co-Head of Fixed Income Capital Markets, Jerome Gaudry - Co-Head of Commodities Sales & Trading, and Lana Calton - Senior Managing Director, Head of Clearing.
