Dan McCleary

Dan McCleary has extensive experience in higher education admissions and student recruitment. Currently serving as a Visitor Service Volunteer at Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens since October 2022, Dan also works as an Admissions Officer and Committee Member at Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business, providing strategic guidance in collaboration with Duke University. Dan's previous role as Assistant Dean of Admissions at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business lasted from May 2002 to August 2021, where responsibilities included directing recruiting initiatives for multiple MBA programs and maintaining the admissions liaison with Nazarbayev University. Additional positions at Duke involved oversight of recruitment for various Executive MBA programs, regional leadership in India, and co-directing the dual degree MBA program with Goethe University. Dan holds a BA in English from New York University, completed in May 1987.
