Steve Parker

Steve Parker serves as Chief Corporate Counsel and Compliance Officer at Hillwood. In this role he is responsible for the general corporate activity and legal compliance of the Hillwood related companies. He has direct responsibility for development and implementation of corporate policies, procedures and legal compliance and provides legal direction and guidance to all Hillwood business groups.

Parker has been with Hillwood since 2006. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Network MultiFamily Security Corporation located in Irving Texas for 14 years where he was responsible for all legal aspects of the company as well as Human Resources. Prior to Network MultiFamily, Parker was in private practice with the Dallas firm of Smith, Underwood and Hunter focusing on commercial transactions and litigation. Parker earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Tech University and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law. He is an active member in the Dallas Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.
