Jana Hessemyer

Jana Hessemyer has over 20 years of experience in financial and business leadership roles. Jana started their career at Ameribanc as a Senior Accountant from 1988 to 1992. Jana then worked at KPMG as a Supervising Senior Tax Specialist from 1992 to 1995.

In 1997, Jana joined DeLaval as a Tax and Treasury Manager, where they were responsible for managing tax compliance and treasury functions for DeLaval entities in the US. Jana also served as the company's single point of contact for banking needs.

At DeLaval, Jana took on various roles, including Accounting, Tax and Treasury Manager from 2001 to 2005, US Sales Organization Controller from 2005 to 2009, and Region North America Controller from 2009 to 2016. As Region North America Controller, they were in charge of the accuracy of profit and loss statements and balance sheets for entities in Canada, US, and Mexico.

In 2017, Jana worked as a Consultant for RGP, where they provided business services such as supporting transformation/change management, mergers & acquisitions, and project management. Jana was assigned to a subsidiary of one of the largest privately held companies in the United States, supporting business transformation.

Currently, Jana is the Chief Financial Officer/Vice President Finance at Hillyard, Inc. In this role, they provide strategic financial and business leadership to impact the company's financial growth, structure, and direction. Jana is responsible for all financial disciplines including accounting, treasury, tax, and financing.

Jana Hessemyer obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Northwest Missouri State University between 1984 and 1988.
