Quinten Stewart has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Quinten began their career in the US Navy as a Nuclear Propulsion Operator from 1987 to 1991. Quinten then worked as a Senior Customer Engineer at Sentinel Technologies Incorporated from 1995 to 1998.
After gaining experience in engineering and technology, Quinten transitioned into the corporate world, working for major global companies. Quinten joined Mars Incorporated in 1998 and held various roles including Global Risk Manager and Purchasing Manager/Supply Chain Manager/Infrastructure Manager/Project Manager. During their time at Mars, they implemented a global exposure management program and managed risk exposure using financial derivatives. Quinten also demonstrated their leadership abilities by managing multimillion-dollar P&L and leading process improvement initiatives.
Quinten then moved to Kimberly-Clark Corporation as the Global Director of Sourcing & Supply Management from 2004 to 2006. In this role, they led a team responsible for indirect sourcing, technology spend, and Business Process Outsourcing. Quinten played a crucial role in negotiating and implementing contracts and governance models.
In 2006, Quinten joined Tata & Accenture as an Outsourcing Program Consultant. Quinten managed the Kimberly-Clark consulting engagement, providing advisory services and implementing IT business processes.
From 2007 to 2008, Quinten worked at MGP Ingredients as the Global Supply Chain Director/Corporate Director, Purchasing. Here, they oversaw various aspects of the supply chain, including transportation, packaging, warehousing, logistics, distribution, fulfillment, procurement, planning, materials management, and co-manufacturing. Quinten successfully implemented a "pull" approach to supply, resulting in increased inventory turns and improved cash flow.
Quinten's next role was at WireCo WorldGroup, where they served as the Global Vice President/Global Director of Planning & Scheduling from 2008 to 2016. Quinten played a key role in strategic planning, M&A activities, change management, and the transition to standardized global supply chain processes. Quinten also led the transformation of the company's business focus from function-based to service level-based.
Currently, Quinten is the Director of Supply Chain Management at Hillyard, a position they have held since 2016.

Quinten Stewart has a diverse education history. Quinten began their higher education journey at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1991 and completed a program in Engineering Technical - US Navy Program, with a focus on Nuclear Physics. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business at Eastern Illinois University from 1993 to 1997. Quinten then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, which they attended from 1999 to 2001.
In addition to their formal degrees, Quinten has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2001, they obtained the Lean Champion / Leading Lean certification from the Lean Learning Center. In 2002, they became a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) through the Institute for Supply Management. In 2003, Quinten achieved the Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Juran Global and also earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2005, they obtained two certifications: the CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management) from APICS and the CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) from the Institute for Supply Management.
