Reed Azevedo is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the food processing and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at Hilmar Cheese Company since September 2012, Azevedo previously held the position of West Coast Engineering Manager at HJ Heinz from January 2008 to August 2012, and Engineering Manager at Leprino Foods between 1997 and 2008. Early career experience includes roles as an Electrical Project Engineer at Guardian Industries from January 1988 to September 1992. Azevedo's expertise includes plant-wide control upgrades, such as batching and furnace control, as well as international project experience with facility startup in South America. Azevedo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Fresno, between 1984 and 1988.
