Brenda S. Ho

Brenda returned to the East Hawai’i Regional Board of HHSC after serving two consecutive terms from 2007-2014. Since 1990, she has been CEO of Hawai’i Care Choices (formerly Hospice of Hilo), a service hospice and palliative care provider. Brenda has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from William Jewell College in Missouri and a Master’s Degree in Science with a specialty in Nursing Administration from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. Her career began as a registered nurse and expanded into management and leadership roles. She is a member of multiple local, state and national business and healthcare associations, and also serves on the Board of Kukua Mau, a State Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, is the Past-President Elect for Rotary Club of South Hilo, and is a member of the Steering Committee East Hawai’i Regional Health Improvement Collaborative.
