Daniel Bloedorn BS, RRT-NPS, RRT-ACCS, CPFT, C-NPT, AE-C has extensive experience in the respiratory therapy field. Theircareer began in 1998 at the University of Virginia Health System, where they held the role of Respiratory Therapy Supervisor and Respiratory Care Practitioner. In 2007, they moved to Sunrise Children's Hospital, where they held the role of Respiratory Care Practitioner. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at Sunrise Hospital and Children's Medical Center as the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor. In 2017, they joined AMN Healthcare as a Pediatric/Adult Respiratory Therapist, and in 2018 they worked at both McLane Children's Scott & White Hospital as a Registered Respiratory Therapist Transport and at Stanford Children's Health | Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Daniel currently holds the role of Respiratory Therapy Manager at HILO Medical Center.
Daniel Bloedorn's educational history includes an Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy from Crafton Hills College, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a field of study in Health Sciences/Management from Old Dominion University. Daniel also holds a number of certifications, including Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care - NBRC (obtained in July 2002), Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist (RRT-NPS) from the National Board for Respiratory Care - NBRC (obtained in March 1993), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care - NBRC (obtained in June 1987), Certified Asthma Educator (AE-C) from NAECB (obtained in July 2019), Certification in Neonatal Pediatric Transport (C-NPT) from The National Certification Corporation (obtained in September 2011), and Adult Critical Care Specialty Examination (ACCS) from the National Board for Respiratory Care - NBRC (obtained in October 2013).
