Tugce N. Guney Mermer

Tugce N. Guney Mermer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the fields of construction and engineering. Tugce N. started their career as a Teaching Assistant at NYU Tandon School of Engineering in 2012. Tugce N. then worked as a Junior Estimator at Kiska Construction Inc. from June 2012 to January 2013, followed by a role as an Estimator at Alcon Builders Group Inc. from January 2013 to October 2013. Tugce then joined TAV Construction in October 2013, where they worked as a Tendering & Proposals Engineer before transitioning to roles as a Senior BIM Specialist Engineer and BIM Manager. In 2017, they moved to Renaissance Construction as a BIM Manager and later joined Hilti Nederland BV in 2018. At Hilti, they worked as an International BIM Project Manager before assuming the role of Head of Modeling at the BIM Competence Center in January 2021.

Tugce N. Guney Mermer received a Master's degree in Construction Management from New York University in the year 2012. Prior to that, Tugce completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University, also known as Orta Dogu Teknik Universitesi, during the period from 2006 to 2011. Additionally, Tugce has obtained certifications in Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist and OSHA 30 Hour from Istanbul Technical University - ITUCEM and the United States Department of Labor, respectively.
