Burin Asavesna

Burin Asavesna has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Web Developer for Klotron, Inc., where they migrated existing websites to dynamic, database-backed systems and developed customized portal pages and websites. In 2008, they joined Sabre Corporation as a Ruby on Rails Developer and later transitioned to roles such as Senior UX Developer & Designer and Principal Software Developer in the Enterprise Mobile Services team. At Sabre Labs, Burin served as the Head of Technology and Senior Principal Software Engineer, leading the technology team in building prototypes and business models using lean and agile principles. In 2012, they joined TripCase as a Principal Software Developer and Technical Lead, where they led the redesign of TripCase to ship apps across multiple platforms and initiated various high-visibility projects. Most recently, in 2019, Burin joined the Hilti Group as a Lead Software Architect, responsible for setting technical direction, strategy, and engineering culture for the digital commerce organization.

Burin Asavesna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Technology and Information Systems from The University of Texas at Arlington. Burin graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors.
