Alex Canales

Alex Canales, CHA, has an extensive career in hospitality management, currently serving as Area Vice President of Resort Operations at Hilton Grand Vacations since June 1995. In this role, Alex is responsible for the day-to-day operations of four properties in Las Vegas. Previously, Alex held the position of Regional Vice President of Operations for the Western Region at Hilton Grand Vacations, overseeing three major resorts. Alex also worked at Bluegreen Resorts Management Inc. as Vice President of the Western Region, managing nine resorts across the country, and at Sonesta Hotels in various capacities, including Director of Rooms Division and Resident Manager, focusing on hotel operations and customer service. Alex holds a degree in Commercial Engineering with a focus on Economics from Universidad de Concepción, earned between 1977 and 1981.
