Jean Garris Hand

Jean Garris Hand currently serves as the Vice President of Global ESG at Hilton, leading the advancement of the company's Travel with Purpose initiative to promote responsible and sustainable tourism. Prior to this role, Jean founded and served as Principal at Capital Energy Associates, LLC, providing sustainability and ESG consultancy services to complex commercial portfolios from 2016 to 2022. Jean has also worked as a Senior Advisor for a leading global investment firm, focusing on utility cost reductions across a significant hotel portfolio. Previous experience includes a Senior Manager position at ICF International, where management responsibilities for utility cost reductions were undertaken within healthcare systems and hotel corporations, and as an Analyst II at PAREXEL International, a prominent biopharmaceutical consulting firm. Jean holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia, earned in 1998.
