Ranjan Malakar

Ranjan Malakar has extensive experience in hotel operations and management, having worked with prominent organizations such as Hilton and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®). In the role of Senior Regional Director Operations at Hilton from November 2019 to August 2022, Ranjan supported General Managers across multiple hotel brands in North India. Prior to that, Ranjan served as Regional Director of Operations at IHG®, managing a portfolio of Holiday Inn hotels throughout South West Asia, and held various roles including Area General Manager and Director of Operations, focusing on driving financial performance and enhancing guest experiences. Ranjan's career began at Taj Mahal Mumbai and Le Meridien, where roles spanned from revenue management to restaurant operations. Ranjan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from The University of Huddersfield and a Certified Hospitality Business Acumen (CHBA) certification from HSMAI.
