Gaurav Vijay

Gaurav Vijay is an experienced professional in the engineering and operational management sectors, currently serving as Associate General Manager at Hindalco Industries Limited since October 2024. Previously, Gaurav held the position of Plant Manager at Vedanta Resources Limited from August 2020 to October 2024, overseeing operation and maintenance activities at the Hydro 1 Chanderiya Lead Zinc Smelter Unit 2. Prior to that, Gaurav spent nearly 11 years at Hindustan Zinc Limited, progressing from Mechanical Engineer to Associate Manager Mechanical and ultimately to Deputy Manager Mechanical, with responsibilities in project management and maintenance within various plants. Gaurav holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Govt Engineering College Ajmer, earned in 2009.
