Girish Rath

Girish Rath is an experienced IT and digital transformation leader with over 17 years in the industry. Since May 2015, Girish has served as the Head of IT Digital for the Upstream Business at Hindalco Industries Limited, overseeing comprehensive IT digital functions, including strategy, infrastructure, cyber security, and ERP systems. Prior roles include serving as Head of IT & ERP at DB Power Ltd, Head of IT & Systems at GMR Energy Ltd, and Head of Corporate IT Infrastructure at UltraTech Cement Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed IT infrastructure management, project execution, and ensuring service level agreement compliance. Girish began the career as a Network Consultant and later as a Sr Officer-IT at K Raheja Universal Pvt Ltd. Educational qualifications include an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering from IE India and an MBA in IT Management from Punjab Technical University.
