Sukanta Pandit

Sukanta Pandit is an accomplished logistics professional with extensive experience in managing complex supply chain operations across various industries. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Shipping Logistics at Hindalco Industries Limited since September 2024, Sukanta oversees all EXIM logistics activities for the shipping function. Prior to this role, valuable experience was gained at Aditya Birla Group as Head of Logistics, where project planning and operational management were key responsibilities. Additional roles include Logistics Head at Mahindra Logistics and various positions within Mahindra & Mahindra, where leadership in automobile logistics and outbound logistics were demonstrated. Earlier career milestones include Logistics Manager at Reliance Big Entertainment Ltd and Operations Manager at Seventymm Services Pvt. Ltd. Sukanta holds an Executive MBA in Logistics Management, a Logistics Management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and further education in finance and business from Harvard University.
