Antonio Pinto-Duarte

Antonio Pinto-Duarte, Ph.D., currently serves as a Principal Scientist at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since April 2022 and is a Review Editor for the Neurodevelopment section of Frontiers in Neuroscience. With extensive experience as a reviewer for multiple scientific journals, including Current Opinion in Neurobiology, Neuropharmacology, Biological Psychiatry, and Neural Plasticity, Antonio has contributed significantly to the field of neuroscience and pharmacology. Additionally, Antonio leads the San Diego Chapter of the Portuguese American Post-Graduate Society and has held consulting roles with National Geographic. Academically, Antonio earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, Neuroscience from the Salk Institute for Biological Studies and the University of Lisbon, alongside a Master of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor's in Biology from the same institution.
