Dr. Stephen Vacik

Dr. Stephen Vacik currently serves as the President of Hinds Community College, a position held since July 2020. Prior to this role, Dr. Vacik was the President and CEO of Maysville Community and Technical College from 2015 to July 2020, overseeing multiple campuses and a substantial operating budget. Their previous experience includes serving as President of Colby Community College, Vice President of Instruction at East Mississippi Community College, and various leadership roles at Bevill State Community College. Dr. Vacik holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration, a Master of Arts in History, and a Bachelor of Arts in English, all from The University of Alabama.
