Ken Kamlet is a Special Counsel at Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP, focusing on Environmental Law and Land Use, Zoning, and Development law since October 2010. With a robust legal career that includes 13 years as the Director of Legal Affairs at Newman Development Group, a prominent Central New York real estate developer, Ken now provides outside counsel while continuing representation for Newman. Prior roles include partnership positions at Linowes & Blocher, LLP, and Semmes, Bowen & Semmes, as well as leadership in environmental practices at A.T. Kearney and URS Corporation. Ken's early career includes significant contributions at the National Wildlife Federation, where Ken served as Director of Legal Affairs and Director of the Pollution & Toxic Substances Division. Ken holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and advanced degrees from Yale University and Duke University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biology from City University of New York City College.
