Aino Kiviranta has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as a freelance designer for the City of Helsinki. Aino later worked as a design teacher for the City of Helsinki Cultural Office, Design Museum, and Ornamo until 2015. In 2014, they led the Lastenvuoro co-design workshops for The Association of Friends of the University Children's Hospital and ULS. Aino then worked as an accessibility expert for the Valteri Centre for Learning and Consulting from 2015 to 2016. Aino also worked as a strategic designer for BOTH Design Services, leading creative teams and strategic design processes, from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at Gold&Green Foods Ltd as a design manager and later as a brand & concept manager, where they were responsible for brand management, strategy development, and product concept implementation. Aino's most recent position is as a senior service designer and customer experience director at Hintsa Performance, starting in 2022.
Aino Kiviranta began their education at Kauniaisten lukio, where they graduated in an unspecified year. Aino then went on to attend Lahden Ammattikorkeakoulu Muotoiluinstituutti from 2005 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Design. During their time at Lahden Ammattikorkeakoulu Muotoiluinstituutti, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at Danmarks Designskole as an exchange student in 2008. After completing their Bachelor's degree, Aino Kiviranta pursued further education at Aalto University from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Industrial and strategic design from the School of Arts, Design and Architecture.
