Bob Stremel

Bob Stremel is currently the Lead Software Engineer at Hip eCommerce. Bob has held this position since July 2019. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Software Engineer at Emergent Payments from May 2015 to July 2019. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at ProVantage Corporate Solutions from November 2013 to April 2014, where they aided in the development of an internal project management tool with a private client portal. Bob also created a notification system for workers to accept jobs and receive job updates, as well as a reporting framework that could process abstract report layouts and export in HTML, PDF, CSV, and Excel formats.

From September 2009 to May 2015, Bob was the Lead Developer at PowerChalk, where they were responsible for the design, planning, and execution of new development projects. Some of their past projects include building the payment processing system, shopping carts, user authentication and security, and the content browser - a central focus of the system.

Prior to that, they were a Software Developer at Digital River from August 2001 to March 2007.

Bob Stremel's educational career includes studying computer science at the New York Institute of Technology and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
