Huw Thomas

Huw Thomas possesses extensive experience in strategy, transformation, and advisory roles across the Media, Entertainment, and Digital sectors. Currently serving in a strategic capacity at Hipgnosis since July 2024, Huw previously held the position of Partner at Altman Solon, providing M&A advisory for executives and investors until September 2024. Huw's experience includes senior leadership roles at Teneo as Senior Managing Director, focusing on strategy and restructuring in the Media sector, and at Prophet as Senior Partner, specializing in digital and growth strategy for global music and streaming companies. Previous roles include Partner at PwC, Director of Business Transformation at Sony Music Entertainment, and Managing Director at VibeMedia Digital, alongside early career positions at Accenture and Standard Chartered Bank. Huw holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA Hons from Cardiff University.
