James Smith

James Smith is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in technical consulting and operations management. Currently serving as a Principal Consultant and Technical Operations Manager at Hippo since September 2020, James leads a team focused on establishing best practices in DevOps and designing managed services for clients. Prior to this role, James worked as a Principal Engineer, contributing to the development of the National Online Self Exclusion Scheme in the UK Gambling Industry. Additional experience includes roles at BJSS, The Data Shed, Simpson Associates, North Yorkshire Police, and EMIS, where James developed expertise in platform engineering, SQL Server architecture, and service desk support.
