Sarah Pope

Sarah Pope is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the field of user-centered design and research. Sarah is currently serving as the Design Portfolio Director at Hippo Digital since August 2022. Prior to this, Sarah worked at Homes England as the Head of User-Centered Design from February 2020 to February 2022. In this role, they were responsible for shaping the UCD practice and improving ways of working across the organization. Sarah also worked at Citizens Advice, where they held multiple roles including Seamless Customer Journey Lead, User Research Lead, Principal Research Manager, and Senior Policy Researcher. Sarah'swork at Citizens Advice involved strategic research, service design, and developing business plans. Before that, they worked as a Research Manager at Ipsos MORI, managing large-scale research and evaluation projects for various clients. Sarah also gained experience as a Research and Policy Assistant at The Sutton Trust and as a Campaign Intern at the Electoral Reform Society. Sarah started their career as an English Teacher at Atribord & Associés.

Sarah Pope completed their Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Cambridge in 2007. In 2008, they pursued a Master's Degree in Legal and Political Theory from UCL, which they completed in 2009.
