Syed Ali

Syed Ali is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in commercial finance and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Commercial Finance Manager at Morrisons since January 2024, Syed previously held the same title at Card Factory from January 2022 to December 2023. With a strong background in financial management, Syed has also served as CFO and Business Partner at SKA Brands and as Interim Finance Business Partner for prominent companies such as Honda, IBM, and ITV. Additional roles include Group Finance Manager at Virgin Media and Finance Business Partner at Oracle, among others. Academically, Syed holds an ACCA qualification and is pursuing further education in Accounting and Finance, along with a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Leeds Beckett University. Prior education includes a Bachelor of Commerce from Karachi University.
