Rob Taves

Rob Taves is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Hippo Education, LLC since August 2016, Taves focuses on creating innovative medical education products. Previously, Taves held the position of Vice President of Engineering at MegaBigPower, where efforts were centered on technology for the bitcoin and altcoin sectors. As CTO at TrustCloud, Taves contributed to fostering trust in the sharing economy. Co-founding Buzzlab LLC and Cloudpost LLC, Taves developed platforms and software solutions for various businesses. Earlier roles include CTO at LeftCoastLabs, Inc. and Chief Technologist at NtraPoint, with a strong background in designing and developing advanced network modeling software. Taves holds a degree from the University of Washington, completed between 1990 and 1994.
