Amanda Muñoz

Amanda Muñoz, PHR has a diverse work history in the field of human resources. Amanda joined Hippo Insurance in 2019 and held the position of People Operations Manager until March 2020, when they were promoted to the role of Sr. Manager, People Operations. At Hippo Insurance, they managed various aspects of HR operations.

Prior to joining Hippo Insurance, Amanda worked at Mellanox Technologies as a Sr. HR Generalist from April 2018 to June 2019. In this role, they were responsible for managing all HR operations in the US, including benefits administration, HRIS data management, employee onboarding and offboarding, and immigration case management. Amanda also handled employee relations matters, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and sensitive investigations.

Before Mellanox Technologies, Amanda worked at Immersion Corporation as an HR Generalist from January 2015 to November 2016. Amanda gained experience in HR operations during their time at this company.

Amanda also has experience working as a Human Resources Assistant at Tower Foundation- San Jose State University from September 2013 to December 2014, and as a Human Resources Intern at Jive Software from June 2014 to August 2014.

Amanda's career in HR began at Target, where they held the position of Human Resources Team Member from October 2009 to September 2013. In this role, they were responsible for recruiting, scheduling interviews, conducting orientations, and facilitating training and onboarding for new hires.

Throughout their career, Amanda has gained valuable experience in various aspects of HR operations and has shown continuous growth and advancement in their roles.

Amanda Muñoz, PHR, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from San Jose State University. In addition, they obtained their Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute in November 2016.
