Eric Erickson

Eric Erickson, CPA has over 16 years of work experience in finance and accounting. Eric currently holds the position of Insurance Accounting and Reporting Manager at Hippo Insurance, a role they began in September 2021. Prior to this, Eric worked at EY as a Manager in the Financial Accounting Advisory Services department from July 2019 to August 2021.

From 2014 to 2019, Eric worked at AIG as a Manager in Internal Audit. In this role, they provided leadership and direction to risk-based financial audits, overseeing audit test plans for an extensive global network. Eric also reviewed financial analytics and footnotes for accuracy and completeness.

Before their time at AIG, Eric was a Senior Audit Associate at BDO USA, LLP from 2010 to 2014. Here, they were responsible for providing attestation services for a publicly traded company and worked closely with the CFO and the Director of SEC Reporting during quarterly and annual filings.

Prior to BDO USA, LLP, Eric worked at UHY LLP, Certified Public Accountants as a Senior Audit Associate. In this role, they served privately held clients providing attestation services, including audits, reviews, and compilations on financial statements. Eric also played a pivotal role in performing SOX 404 evaluation and testing.

Eric began their career as a Staff Accountant at DoubleClick, Inc in 2005.

Throughout their career, Eric Erickson, CPA has demonstrated a strong understanding of financial accounting, risk management, and auditing. Eric has consistently shown leadership skills and has experience working with both publicly held and privately held companies.

Eric Erickson, CPA, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The College of New Jersey in 2004. In August 2016, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy.
