Mark Freckleton -

Mark Freckleton is a CISSP with extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Mark started their career at PEMCO Mutual Insurance Company in 2000, where they worked as a Senior Security Engineer/Architect until 2007. During their time there, Mark was responsible for overseeing the security of the company's systems and networks.

In 2007, Mark joined Flow International as a Senior Information Technology Security Analyst. Mark worked in this role until 2008, where they focused on maintaining and improving the company's IT security measures.

After their time at Flow International, Mark joined Microsoft in 2009 as a Contractor - Security Service Engineer. Mark oversaw the security of the network and conducted audits, and also designed and analyzed a SQL database of logs for security event analysis.

In 2011, Mark joined T-Mobile as a Senior Engineer, Enterprise Info Security. Mark participated in all aspects of projects, reviewed requirements and deliverables, and worked with the risk team to reduce company threats. Mark was later promoted to Partner Delivery Manager, Enterprise Info Security, where they recruited and supervised a team of cybersecurity engineers and developed partnerships with internal and external partners. Mark's final position at T-Mobile was Manager, Innovation and Telecom - Security Standards and Strategy, where they provided leadership in cybersecurity innovation, standards, and strategy.

Most recently, Mark has been working as a Cyber Security Contractor at Hippo Insurance since 2021. In this role, they manage the vendor assessment program and maintains strong working relationships with various departments to ensure compliance with requirements.

Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated strong expertise in cybersecurity, leadership, and developing effective strategies to protect organizations from threats.

Mark Freckleton received their Bachelor's degree in Math with a Concentration in Computers from the University of Washington, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Mark has also obtained several certifications including CISSP from (ISC)², Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) from Microsoft, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Windows Server 2003 (MCSE) also from Microsoft.
