Michal Shapira

Michal Shapira has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Michal is currently the Director of Partnerships at Hippo Insurance, a role they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at NCR Corporation for nine years, where they held several positions. From October 2020 to April 2022, they served as the Professional Services West USA Executive Manager, overseeing the financial and operational performance of a program generating $145M in revenue. Michal also held the position of Professional Services Program Director for Whole Foods Market-Amazon from September 2019 to October 2020. From April 2015 to September 2019, they served as the Chief Product Owner for Whole Foods Market, leading product delivery and specializing in retail market solutions. Additionally, they started their career at NCR Corporation as a Product Owner from May 2013 to April 2015, where they worked with prominent retailers such as Target and Woolworth.

Before joining NCR Corporation, Michal worked at Breeze Creative as a Project Manager from January 2008 to January 2013. Michal started their professional career in the Israeli Air Force, where they served from January 2005 to January 2008 as an F-16 Pilots Simulator Trainer. Michal received an excellence award for their training contributions and led workshops in various professional fields. Michal also managed a team for a project collaborating with Lockheed Martin and the US Air-Force.

Michal Shapira completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tel Aviv University from 2009 to 2013.
