HIPZ (Health Improvement Project Zanzibar) is a small and highly effective charity that wants every person in Zanzibar to have access to the healthcare that they need. From the grassroots to the Government, HIPZ is embedded in every level of the health system in Zanzibar and we are a catalyst for positive change. We run two District Hospitals in partnership with the Ministry of Health, run a pioneering mental health programme in the community and strengthen systems at hospital and government level. We are a UK registered charity.
