Aoife McCann

Aoife McCann currently serves as the Head of Legal Services at HIQA - Health Information and Quality Authority, a position held since October 2017. Prior to this role, Aoife worked as a Healthcare Solicitor at Comyn Kelleher Tobin Solicitors from October 2006 to September 2017. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Law (BCL) from University College Cork, a Higher Diploma in the European Convention of Human Rights from University College Dublin, and a Certificate in Strategic Leadership for the In-House Lawyer from the Law Society of Ireland. Recently, Aoife completed a Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction, Governance Leadership, and Strategy through the Institute of Directors in 2023.
