Michael Lim Chong

Michael Lim Chong has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Michael began their career at Tourism Holdings Limited in 1996, where they served as a Financial Controller for five years. Michael then took on the role of Financial Controller for Rentals NZ before becoming the General Manager of NZ Rentals Operations. In 2011, Chong joined Challenge Trust as the Chief Commercial Officer. Michael later moved to Hirepool, where they held various positions including Commercial Manager Finance and Commercial Manager Business Improvement & IT. In 2018, Chong was promoted to Head of Commercial at Hirepool.

Michael Lim Chong attended The University of Auckland from 1989 to 1991, where they pursued a degree in Commerce with a focus on Accounting. Michael then gained membership at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 2008 to 2009.
