Katherine Thompson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government affairs and communications. Currently serving as Chief of Staff and National Lead for Government Affairs at Hireup since June 2021, Katherine previously held the position of Deputy Chief Of Staff for the Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education from May 2019 to June 2021. Prior to that, Katherine worked as a Senior Adviser and Project Manager at KJA, a leading communication consultancy, from June 2017 to June 2019. Additional roles include Manager of Government Relations, Strategy and Communications at the Arts Health Institute and Policy Advisor for the NSW Minister for Health. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Socio-Legal Studies in Social Policy from the University of Sydney and attended Roseville College.
