Anne Fortin

Anne Fortin is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in midwifery and healthcare management. Currently serving as a Senior Claims Examiner at the Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada (HIROC) since May 2020, Anne previously worked as a Registered Midwife with Midwife Alliance/Kensington Midwives from 2003 to 2019, where recognized communication skills facilitated the delivery of evidence-based care. Anne also held the role of Head of the Division of Midwifery at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto from 2011 to 2018, successfully expanding the number of privileged midwives and managing hospital operational activities. Holding a BHSc in Midwifery from McMaster University and a Bachelor's degree in English from Trent University, Anne combines clinical expertise with strong project and program management capabilities.
