Lori Borovoy

Lori Borovoy is a seasoned professional in healthcare risk management and patient safety, currently serving as a Senior Healthcare Risk Management Specialist at Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada (HIROC) since September 2017. Prior to this role, Lori held the position of Director of Risk Management and Patient Safety at both the Central Local Health Integration Network and the Central Community Care Access Centre, showcasing a strong focus on enhancing safety protocols. Lori's career began in 1988 at Humber Memorial Hospital, where significant leadership experience was gained, including serving as Acting Vice President Patient Services. Lori holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Master of Science in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, both from the University of Toronto.
