Maria Alexandra Munera, MS, LMHC, has extensive experience in mental health counseling, currently serving as a Clinician and Case Manager at Maria Alexandra's House Children's Home since July 2016. Previously, Maria worked as a Psychotherapist at the Institute for Child and Family Health, Inc. from November 2015 to June 2016, and held the position of Education Specialist at the same organization from February 2013 to March 2016. Additionally, Maria gained hands-on experience as a Practicum Student in Mental Health Counseling at Outpatient Psy Care, Inc. from August 2014 to August 2015. Maria holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Albizu University and a Master of Science in Exceptional Education from Nova Southeastern University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Universidad de La Sabana.
