Doug Stewart

Doug Stewart is an experienced professional with a significant background in governance and controls, currently serving as the Head of Governance and Controls at Hiscox since July 2020. Prior to this role, Doug held the position of Managing Director at KDY Solutions for a brief period in 2020. From March 2016 to January 2020, Doug served as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for UK and Ireland at RSA, and earlier was a Director at Deloitte for eight years. Doug's career also included a leadership role as Head of Regulation and Enforcement at The Electoral Commission and a Senior Manager position at Arthur Andersen & Co. Doug began the professional journey as President of the University of Strathclyde Students Association.
