Ilia Bosis has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 26 years in various software engineering roles. In 1994, they worked as a SW Engineer at Motorola, where they focused on designing, developing, and supporting integrated software for two-way radios. Ilia also programmed drivers and facilitated inter-processors communication for Motorola's DSP.
From 1997 to 2001, Bosis served as a SW Engineer at Telegate-Terayon, specializing in software engineering tasks. During their tenure, they honed their skills in software development.
In 2001, Bosis joined PacketLight Networks as a SW Engineer, contributing to projects involving the design and development of drivers for Packet Switching Fabric. Ilia also participated in the design, development, and support of SONET Clock control for the Optical Metro Transport System. Furthermore, they were responsible for the design, development, and support of drivers for T1/E1 Framer.
Between 2003 and 2007, Bosis worked as a Sr SW Engineer at Intel, where they played a vital role in software engineering tasks.
From 2008 to 2009, Bosis served as a SW Developer at Giant Steps, further expanding their expertise in software development.
In 2009, Bosis joined NGSoft Ltd. as a Senior SW Engineer, where they provided outsourcing services to ECI Telecom. Ilia'sresponsibilities included maintaining the VxWorks-based ATM switch software and troubleshooting a vast C++ codebase.
At TandemG, from 2011 to 2012, Bosis worked as a SW Engineer. Ilia'sresponsibilities included backporting essential functionalities from Linux 2.6 kernel into 2.4 and developing a Bluetooth Linux library for the CSR Bluetooth chip.
From 2012 to 2015, Bosis worked at Embedded Solutions as a SW engineer and team leader. In this role, they performed pre-sales tasks such as analyzing customer requirements and project complexity. Ilia also designed and developed drivers for custom AFDX network switch hardware and the adaptation layer between the Aricent control plane Linux application and the custom L2-L3 network switch hardware.
Bosis then worked as a Lecturer at Chip Design College starting in 2010, where they shared their knowledge and expertise. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at hiSky Ltd., where they continue to contribute their skills and experience.
Ilia Bosis attended Kaunas University of Technology from 1979 to 1984, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computers Software Hardware.
