Meagan Elizondo currently serves as the Programs & Policy Manager at Hispanas Organized for Political Equality, a position held since January 2015. Prior to this role, Meagan was a Front Line Leaders Fellow with the Young Elected Officials Network from March 2017 to August 2017, participating in leadership development and training for young public service leaders. Meagan was also a Ready for Women Fellow in the Office of Councilwoman Nury Martinez at the City of Los Angeles in mid-2015, contributing to the cultivation of women leaders in public service. Earlier experience includes an internship focused on public policy and programs at Hispanas Organized for Political Equality in 2013, and an internship in the Energy & The Environment office within the City of Los Angeles Mayor's office from late 2011 to mid-2012. Meagan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government and Economics from Whittier College.
