Frederick Vélez III Burgos is an experienced professional in communications and civic engagement, currently serving as the Senior Director of Communications & Community Outreach at the Hispanic Federation since February 2020. Prior roles include National Director of Civic Engagement at FDJ Solutions and Organizing & Field Director at Alianza For Progress. Frederick has extensive experience in the U.S. House of Representatives, where roles spanned Scheduler/New Media Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. Engaging in community-focused initiatives and voter outreach, Frederick has contributed to various organizations including Organize Florida and Obama for America. Frederick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/International Relations from the Universidad de Puerto Rico.
