Kenneth Carbajal has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Kenneth currently works as an Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California since March 2023. Before that, they served as a Deputy Regional President at the Hispanic National Bar Association from October 2020 onwards. Kenneth also worked as a Deputy District Attorney at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office from September 2022 to February 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney's Office from September 2017 to September 2022. Kenneth began their professional journey as a Research Assistant at the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center in August 2009 and later had a Congressional Internship at Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard District Office from April 2010 to July 2010.

Kenneth Carbajal completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government & History from UCLA, from 2009 to 2013. Later, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at New York University School of Law and graduated from there in 2017.
